Two Women Identifying as Married Lesbians Sue Christian Retirement Center for Having Faith-Behavior Standards

A lesbian “married” couple is suing privately-owned, Christian-based retirement community Friendship Village in St. Louis for denying them the chance to live there.

Friendship Village rejected their application and deposit because the homosexual lifestyle of the two women violates the retirement community’s biblically based cohabitation policy. The policy explains that marriage is “the union of one man and one woman, as marriage is understood in the Bible.”
