State Senator Mike Maroney Court Date Set on Soliciting Prostitution Charges

West Virginia State Senator Mike Maroney, who sponsored a bill during the last legislative session to ban Christian psychologists, counselors and some pastors, from offering any heteronormative statements to sexually-confused teens, is facing charges for soliciting a prostitute. Senator Maroney signed a Family Policy Council of West Virginia candidate survey four years ago, stating he disagreed with such dangerous legislation and gave his word that he would not sponsor nor vote for them. But then he betrayed us and conservative voters by going back on his word.

Senator Maroney maintains he is innocent of the charges.

His court date has been set for December.
