The mission of the Family Policy Council of West Virginia (FPCWV) is to advocate for policies that embrace the sanctity of human life, enrich marriage, and safeguard religious freedom. The bulk of the FPCWV's is done through research, analysis, and the formation of public policy.
However, the FPCWV is committed to defending the institution of the family wherever it is under assault. That includes the court room.
Headed by the FPCWV's General Counsel, Jeremiah G. Dys, Esq., and aided by staff and allied attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund, the FPCWV participates when necessary as amicus curiae, or friend of the court, proceedings before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia on matters involving our core convictions.
The FPCWV is also prepared to file suits in defense of life, marriage, and religious in State and Federal courtrooms in concert with its mission and purpose.
